James Briggs has been shortlisted for the ‘Manufacturing Company of the Year Award’ at this year’s Made in the North West Awards.
Organised by Insider Media, the Made in the North West Awards recognise excellence in manufacturing across the region, with companies acknowledged over 10 categories each year. The ‘Manufacturing Company of the Year Award’ is the most prestigious accolade and will this year be contested by James Briggs, as well as the likes of Jaguar Land Rover and resilient flooring manufacturer, Polyflor.
Commenting on the shortlisting, James Briggs CEO Tim Pugh said: “The past 12 months have been a significant period of growth for James Briggs in which we’ve expanded our distribution networks across Europe and into the Middle East. To be in with a chance of winning this award is testament to the hard work and dedication of all our staff to create that growth.
“On top of that, the calibre of the companies we’ve been shortlisted alongside highlights our stature as a driver of Northern manufacturing, distributing to a truly international audience.”
The winner will be announced at a black tie ceremony on Thursday 5th May.
